While there they see their fate line rubber band onto itself into a glow mass of energy.
The individual is strongly compelled to give this mass a shape. This is called Ember However they may choose not to. Turning their back on their Ember begins the process of become a Fateless.
A player or NPC’s Fate Line is cut.
If they accept the Ember they Must give it a form.
The Form is one object of the Players choice. It can be anything the Character wants. Sword, Gun, Pen, Shield, Slinky, Anything.
They Must also then choose what type of power this Ember has. This must be one of the power Sources within the game.
If they begin to engage the Ember in Conversation above the “What is going on here?” or “What is that?” It gains sentience.
If the player simplify gives it a name It gains Quiet Sentience
